My research develops computational analogues of human emotion to enhance agent decision-making and communication. The goal is to look at what made emotions a successful evolutionary strategy, and transfer these insights into the design of agents that operate in complex environments. I am also interested in ways to use emotion expressions to improve human-computer interaction.
