Kevin Birmingham is an instructor in the Harvard College Writing Program and was previously a Lecturer in History & Literature. His research interests include nineteenth- and twentieth-century fiction and culture, the history of censorship and literary obscenity, race and aesthetics, the avant-garde, literary non-fiction and graphic novels. He is the author of The Most Dangerous Book: The Battle for James Joyce's Ulysses, which was published by Penguin Press in June 2014.
