Bio

 

I am a PhD student in medical anthropology. My work focuses on the experience and social effects of environmental illness and chemical contamination. My dissertation research is entitled "Environmental Illness after the Green Revolution : Health, Medicine and Experience in North India," and is supported by the Wenner-Gren Foundation, and the Sheldon Traveling Scholarship.  I am currently in India, where I am a visiting scholar at the Centre for Studies in Science Policy at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.
