This course examines theories and knowledge about differences in the activities of men and women in the workplace and in their personal lives (or, as in the course title, in “careers and love”).  How do men and women in the contemporary U.S. combine love and work…and how does it all work out?  Central to this inquiry are ideas about gender inequality.
