MIT Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS): Thesis Reader/Advisor to a Masters of Engineering (MEng) candidate within the MIT EECS Department, who was awarded with a MIT Award for Multidisciplinary Innovation in the Design of Software Systems.

Naval Postgraduate School (NPS): Thesis Reader for a Master of Arts in Security Studies (Homeland Defense and Security) thesis, which was deemed to be "a tremendous asset to the law enforcement, military, and intelligence communities."

MIT International Development Initiative (IDI): Research Advisor to the Prince of Wales Fellows at the MIT IDI, who have produced the publications, “Humans as sensors: Fusion of Participatory Mechanisms and Computational Innovations to Monitor Climate Change and its Consequences” and “Robust Decision Engineering: Collaborative Big Data and its Application to International Development/AID;” Advisory Board Member to the Eindhoven University of Technology/Synerscope team, which co-authored - with the Prince of Wales Fellows conducting research at MIT - the D4D Challenge Best Visualization Prize Paper, "Exploration and Analysis of Massive Mobile Phone Data: A Layered Visual Analytics Approach."

MIT Computer Science Artificial Intelligence (CSAIL) Team: Research Advisor to a MIT 6.813 User Interface Design and Implementation Team for intelligence analytics platforms, which was honored by a software development collaboration with a Fortune 100 firm.

MIT Engineering Systems Division (ESD) Team: Lead Advisor to the MIT ESD Team that collaborated on a film, which was feted at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, one of the largest independent cinema festivals in the world.

MIT School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) and the School of Engineering Team: Lead Advisor to the MIT HASS and School of Engineering Team that was honored as a nominee for the 2011 Webby Awards, the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, in the Schools/Universities category.
