Curriculum Vitae

Daniel Yew Mao Lim is the Raymond Vernon Fellow in the Department of Government and an affiliate of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University. Together with Mike Hiscox, he represents Harvard's Behavioral Insights Group (BIG) in Singapore, where they work on joint research projects with several government agencies. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Government (expected in Nov 2014). His dissertation examines the determinants of prosocial behavior in Singapore and he is advised by Mike Hiscox (Chair), Gary King, and Mike Norton. His other research interests include international political economy and program evaluation. Daniel has published in and served as a reviewer for World Politics (Cambridge University Press). He was a teaching fellow for API-208, a course on program evaluation offered at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He graduated in four years with a Bachelors in International Political Economy (summa cum laude) and a Masters in International Relations (valedictorian) from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in May 2011. He earned a Masters in Statistics from Harvard University in May 2014.
