Justine De Young is a Preceptor in the Harvard College Writing Program and also serves as an Associate Editor of Exposé magazine. Her research and writing interests include eighteenth and nineteenth-century French art and literature, visual and material culture, modernism and fashion. She is currently completing a book manuscript on the intersection of art, fashion, women and modernity in nineteenth-century France. She holds a B.A. in English and art history from Williams College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in art history from Northwestern University.
