Dmitry Vinichenko is currently a graduate student in the group. He is working on modeling the photo-catalyzed processes, in particular alcohol oxidation on titania, using a combination of delta-SCF approach for excitation creation and Ehrenfest dynamics for propagation of system in time. Such approach was successful for methanol photo-oxidation, helping to establish the “C-H acidity” mechanism of the process.He graduated from Moscow State University with a diploma in chemistry in 2012.
