Ekin Dogus Cubuk
Dogus is a fifth year Ph.D. student studying structural complexities in atomistic systems, ranging from disordered solids to catalytic surfaces. He works on developing methodologies to combine first-principles calculations with machine learning and stochastic simulation tools. Applications so far include supercooled liquids and Li-ion batteries. He holds a B.S. in engineering and a B.A. in physics with high honors from Swarthmore College, and a M.A in physics from Harvard University.
