Bio

I am a third year Ph.D. student in the History Department studying modern European history with an emphasis on France in the eighteenth-century.  I received my B.A. in history from the University of Chicago in 2009.  My most recent publication, “The Myth of the Foreign Enemy? The Brunswick Manifesto and the Radicalization of the French Revolution” appeared in French History in June 2011.  My dissertation project explores the history of the last French East India Company during the late ancien régime and French Revolution.
