I am a postdoctoral scholar in Prof. Daniel Jacob's atmospheric chemistry group. I worked in Prof. Paul Wennberg's group at Caltech, graduating in 2011. In my thesis I used both experimental and modeling techniques to gain some insights on the photooxidation of isoprene in the atmosphere. Emissions of isoprene are thought to account for ~ 30-40% of biogenic emissions of non-methane reduced carbon, a flux much larger than anthropogenic emissions.

I am broadly interested by the interactions between biosphere and atmosphere, the role of atmospheric chemistry in mediating these interactions, their impact on air quality and ecosystem health as well as their disturbance by anthropogenic activities.
