Giuliana Chamedes is a historian of modern Europe completing a Ph.D. at Columbia University. She situates her research on religion and state building in the fields of international and intellectual history. Educated at Brown University, Cambridge University, and the University of Florence, Giuliana is currently nesting in Cambridge, MA, where she teaches courses on Europe in the wider world through Harvard's Program in History & Literature.
