Tamara Griggs is a research scholar at Harvard's Humanities Center and a lecturer in History and Literature. She received a Ph.D in History from Princeton University and has published articles primarily on eighteenth-century antiquarianism and historiography. She is currently writing a book about about world histories in early modern Europe (1650 - 1815). She has taught at Stanford University, the University of Chicago and the University of Massachusetts-Boston. At Harvard, she teaches a seminar on early modern Europe and colonial America and a sophomore tutorial on medieval and early modern Europe. She also supervises History and Literature theses on a variety of topics in early modern European history.
