I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT).

I study two topics central to social organization and group behavior: social hierarchy and moral psychology. The topics I explore include: (1) The various bases of social hierarchy (e.g., power, status, moral standing), (2) the factors that create and sustain hierarchy (e.g., social evaluation, status seeking, competition), and (3) how social hierarchies impact the thoughts, actions, and biology of the individuals embedded within them.
