Hello and welcome to my scholar page! I am a Sociology PhD candidate at Harvard University with 5+ years of experience in survey design as well as interview, observational, and community participatory research methods. Through my doctoral training, I have gained strong communication (verbal and written), project management, and grant writing skills, and extensive teaching experience.

As a social scientist, I am passionate about conducting applied research to reduce racial inequities, especially within the criminal justice system. My dissertation research examines community and organizational approaches to safety and quality of life concerns in Boston public housing. My work can be found in public facing outlets, such as the Boston Globe. I hope you will engage with me in efforts to do research that not only informs others, but also helps to improve conditions for the truly disadvantaged.
