Welcome to my website. I am currently a Research Fellow in the International Security Program at Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and an Empirical Studies of Conflict Post-Doctoral Scholar in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University. Previously I was a Pre-Doctoral Fellow in International Security at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation and a Peace Scholar in the Jennings Randolph Peace Scholarship Dissertation Program at the United States Institute of Peace. I received my Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 2009. My research interests include insurgency and counterinsurgency, military strategy and effectiveness, political economy, and conflict resolution.
