Research Interests

My research focuses on time domain X-ray observations and modeling of accretion structures in binaries. I have collected and analyzed all XMM-Newton, Chandra and RXTE observations of the known pulsars until 2014 in the Small & Large Magellanic Clouds. By combining the 3 satellites together, my pipeline generates a suite of useful products for each pulsar detection: event lists, pulse profiles, periodograms, spectra and spin up/down rate information. In parallel, I use the general relativity to model high energy radiation originating in the magnetic polar caps of the rotating neutron stars, and investigates the interaction of binary/triple stars like TV Cassiopeia.
