About Me

I'm currently entering my sixth year as a PhD student in Ancient History in the Department of the Classics. My primary interests lie in Roman cultural history, specifically questions of identity (including gender), memory, authority, and violence. More generally I am interested in Roman and Hellenistic historiography and numismatics.

Dissertation topic: the significance of spoils (spolia, exuviae) in Roman culture
