I study political myth and the modern reception of Plato.  

My research and studies have been generously supported by the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University, the Krupp Foundation, the Center for European Studies at Harvard University, the Dan David Prize, and the Gates-Cambridge Trust.  In the 2014-15 academic year, I was an Interdisciplinary Dissertation Fellow at the Mahindra Humanities Center at Harvard University.
