Anthropology News

[As of September 2015, Anthropology News, which is the professional newsletter of the American Anthropological Association (AAA), has a terrible policy of making its back content only available to paying AAA members.  It receives all of its content for free, but insists on burying content more than four months old behind a paywall since this is one of the "main benefits of AAA membership."  This perhaps made sense when the publication was print only, but since it has become digital, I feel it is very bad form.  I have officially lodged a complaint with the AAA in my capacity as contributing editor for two Anthropology News columns, but thus far my complaint has been ignored.  All content listed here is available through Anthrosource to current AAA members, but I am working on posting pdfs of all articles that I wrote.]

UPDATE: As of 30 November 2015, I have resigned as contributing editor to both Anthropology News columns.
