I am back from HERE event in Tbilisi (Higher Education reform Experts in EU Neighbouring countries). My keynote was not the usual keynote - slides were shared (http://supporthere.org/sites/default/files/session_1_student-centred_lea... ), but for the session itself I took the Socratic method opening with a story of two imaginary students : Jane and Emily... to collectively - through discussion with participants - construct the meaning of student-centred approach in higher education, its key premises. This was also to demonstrate that one can conduct discussion in a lecture hall (with bolted seats) with audience of 120+ participants.
