I am a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Government (2009-2011) at Harvard University and a member of MSF/Doctors Without Borders. 

I was previously a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Political Science at Yale University (2005-2007). During the last eight years I led MSF teams in multiple locations, including Sudan, Gaza, Iran, Indonesia, Chad, CAR, Malawi, Ethiopia, Liberia (www.msf.org).  

My  research interests are security, research methods, global health, economic development and humanitarian intervention.
