Welcome! I'm a 3rd year PhD student in the Department of Government at Harvard and a member of the Institute of Quantitative Social Science.  My research include international political economy topics, in particular the domestic political economy of surplus countries; political methodology, including automated content analysis in Chinese and English and ecological inference; and Chinese politics, including inflation, currency reserve, and currency peg politics in China as well as the politics of the Chinese blogosphere.

Currently, I'm working on a variety of projects including sentiment and censorship in the Chinese blogosphere (with Jennifer Pan and Gary King), eiR a program for ecological inference (with Gary King), topic models (with Brandon Stewart and Edo Airoldi), and the politics of FDI (with Yasheng Huang and Yanbo Wang).
