Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Harvard Department of Government. I hold an A.M. in Statistics from Harvard University, a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and an A.B. degree in economics from Harvard College.
My research interests include statistical methods, law, and race and ethnic politics, and I'm currently at work looking at the relationship between race and ethnicity and judicial decision making in the federal courts. In June of 2010, Prof. Jennifer Hochschild (PI) and I were awarded a grant by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to study the relationship between genetics, race, and public policy. I’m also a graduate affiliate in residence at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science.
Starting July 1, 2012, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Rochester.
Thanks for stopping by!
