Mira Siegelberg is a PhD candidate in the Harvard University Department of History. Her research interests include the history of international political thought, international institutions, global governance, international law, human rights, and theories of international relations.

Her dissertation examines the history of statelessness in the 20th century by tracking the concept’s shifting role in debates among jurists, liberal internationalists, and state actors over the nature of rights and international legal order.

Mira holds a B.A from Columbia University in history and human rights, and received her MA from Harvard University in 2009. She was a Graduate Fellow at  the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics in 2011-2012, and is a graduate affiliate at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies.
