I’m interested in how sensory information is integrated in the brain. More specifically, I’m interested in how central information from “higher” brain areas affects sensory integration in “lower” sensory areas. I use a combination tools including electrophysiology and optogenetics to explore these issues in the olfactory system of rodents.
