Random walks around the globe have taken Geoff from Hong Kong to Auckland to New York and then Boston/Cambridge. In 2007, Geoff received his PhD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, under the guidance of Suzanne Zukin and Michael Bennett. His current research focuses on the role of inhibitory circuits in cortical information processing. Outside of the lab, Geoff delves into the martial arts and photography. Geoff is a recipient of a 2010 NARSAD Young Investigator Award.
