I am a post-doctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Prof. Tayyaba Hasan at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)Harvard Medical School. I have about 10 years of laboratory experience in biomedical research. My post-doctoral research at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at MGH focuses on developing a 3D bio-printed tumor model for immune-oncology screening. During my PhD research at the University of Texas at Austin, I studied the mechanism of focused secretion by T cells and how schizophrenia could link to immune-dysfunction. My MS thesis at Texas State University-San Marcos involved understanding the role of bacterial biofilms in protecting and shielding viruses. Before joining the MS program, I completed my bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine (DVM equivalent) and worked as a board (WBVC) registered veterinarian in India.
