I am a senior lecturer (assistant prof.) at the faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion.

I lead the AI and People (APPL) group. Our group's main research interests lie in the intersection of artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. My work focuses on developing intelligent systems that support people; the development of such systems requires both novel algorithmical approaches to solve hard computational problems, as well as the design of new interaction methods such that the systems fit well with people's capabilities and workflows. I'm particularly interested in applying the developed methods and systems in domains such as healthcare and education.

I am looking for motivated students who are interested in artificial intelligence and/or human-computer interaction.

I talked about my research in "unsupervised", a podcast about data science, you can listen to it here, or read about it here

I also talked about my research in "the lab" podcast (in Hebrew). Links to the episodes can be found here.

And here's a 4 minute talk I gave about grad school, my research and breaking bad.
