Ariel Dora Stern is a National Bureau of Economic Research Predoctoral Fellow in Aging and Health Economics, a Predoctoral Fellow in the Harvard Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy and a Ph.D. Candidate in Public Policy at Harvard University. Her research focuses on empirical analysis of health care markets and health care policy. Her dissertation includes research on health inequalities, productivity in health care, medical device innovation and health technology adoption. Ariel holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Dartmouth College, where she was a Presidential Scholar and a two-time U.S. national collegiate figure skating champion.
