About me

Stuart Po-Hong Liu, MD, MPH is an academic investigator focusing on gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He has published more than 20 original researches on the management and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. He has won several national and international investigator award. He was a practicing gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, a 3,000 bed tertiary referral center in Taiwan. He just earned his MPH degree at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with concentration in biostatistics and epidemiology. He is currently working at the Clinical Translational Epidemiology Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, investigating diverticular disease, colorectal cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease. He also volunteers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, aiming to improve the outcome of liver cancer. His interests include history, computers, outdoors, and transitional justice.
