NOTSS is a behavior rating system developed for trained assessors to observe, rate and provide feedback to surgeons on behavioral aspects of their intraoperative performance.

The project was run by the University of Aberdeen under funding from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and NHS Education Scotland.
