Apply Now: Harvard Energy and Climate Change Course

April 17, 2016

About the Program:

Scientists and most policymakers agree that global climate change is one of the most critical issues of our time. It poses significant risks to our natural environment, as well as the global economy, and threatens the long-term viability of human society. Harvard Kennedy School’s new executive program,Climate Change and Energy: Policy Making for the Long Term, brings together public policymakers and corporate leaders from the U.S. and around the world to explore the science, economics, and policy of climate change—and closely related aspects of energy production and use—in the week leading up to Climate Week in New York City.

This six-day program runs September 11 – 16, 2016 on the Harvard Kennedy School campus. Session leaders during the week include the Belfer Center’s Robert Stavins, program faculty chair and director of the Harvard Project on Climate Agreements, Henry Lee, director of the Environment and Natural Resources Program, Meghan O’Sullivan, director of the Geopolitics of Energy Program, and Daniel Schrag, director of the Science, Technology, and Public Policy Program.

There is space for a limited number of participants, so early application is encouraged. For questions, please contact Program Director Caitlin McBride.
