Bio

Aaron Russell Kaufman is the William Yandell Elliott Graduate Fellow at Harvard University. His current interests are in causal inference; topic models and text as data; natural experiments and quasi-experiments; political representation and accountability; campaign finance reform; and state and local politics with an emphasis on California. His recent research examines the effects of interest group endorsements on identifying representatives' voting behavior using survey experiments. He received his BA in political science and public policy from University of California, Berkeley in May 2013.
