Presentation at ICRA 2017

We presented our paper Predictive Filtering in Motion Compensation with Steerable Cardiac Catheters at the 2017 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in Singapore. The paper presents a respiratory motion compensation method using an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) to predict target motion and applying the predictions to steer an ultrasound-imaging catheter.

Talk on Robotics to 5,000 Middle and High Schoolers in Turkey

I gave an online talk on robotics to 85 different middle and high schools in Turkey through the Bilime Yolculuk (Journey to Science) program, reaching about 5,000 students. My talk was titled On the Brink of the Robotics Era, A Look at Robotics from Asimov to ASIMO (Robotik Çağı'nın Eşiğinde, Asimov’dan ASİMO’ya Robotiğe Bir Bakış).
