Research

My main research interests are in modern and postmodern political thought, with special attention to continental philosophy, and I explore questions that lie at the intersection of theories of power, law, and moral psychology.

These interests have given rise to different projects. The first one is my doctoral dissertation, titled The Belief in Intuition: A Politico-philosophical Reading of Henri Bergson and Max Scheler, where I study these authors' so-called "personalist" views, from a political theory perspective. Secondly, I explore a variety of topics such as rhetoric, political judgment, empathy in legal interpretation, and civic education, under the broad title of Language, Charisma, and Emotions in Politics and the Law.
