Andrew Hicks is a statistician at Harvard Medical School. Since 2014 he has worked as lead statistician/program team lead under Michael Chernew at the Healthcare Markets and Regulation (HMR) lab in the Department of Health Care Policy. His research interests include geographic variation in healthcare spending and price growth. He has extensive experience in several medical and pharmacy claims datasets. Prior to joining HMS, he was Assistant Director of the Statistic and Methods Core of the California Center for Population Research at UCLA.
