I am currently posted in Manila as a Foreign Service Officer (Contracting Officer) at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Philippines), where I cover the economic growth and democracy and governance portfolios of the Philippines and Mongolia. My previous diplomatic posts include USAID/Afghanistan and USAID/West Bank and Gaza. I also hold the rank as Navy Commander (O-5) and recently served as the Director of Contracts at the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), which is a joint task force of United States Africa Command located in Djibouti, Africa. I have published in the areas of business processes improvement, data quality and information reliability, climate change economics, biodiversity, and biomass/biofuels energy projects.  I am interested in using comparative-static and dynamic Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modelling efforts to trace the economic effects of public policies on both environmental, social and governance (ESG) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance in the various sectors (e.g., agriculture) of developing countries.
