Currently, he is also working with Professor Melani Cammett at Brown University to study the impact of political institutions on welfare provision in Lebanon. He is a recipient of the Taiwanese Physician Fund Fellowship, Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship, and Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation Dissertation Fellowship. He was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan.
