I am a Ph.D. candidate in Modern European History at Harvard University, where I am an affiliate of the Center for European Studies and the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. My research explores the political and cultural processes (and consequences) of decolonization across the French empire, particularly in Algeria.

In 2010-2011 I was a Fulbright scholar at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, where I was an affiliated Masters student in the “Histoire du fait colonial et impérial” seminar organized by Myriam Cottias. 

I received my bachelor’s degree in History and French from Rutgers University in 2010, where I worked with Matt Matsuda, Jennifer Jones, and Mathilde Bombart.

Je suis doctorant dans l’histoire européenne contemporaine à Harvard University où je me suis affilié au Center for European Studies et au Weatherhead Center for International Affairs.
