Measuring adequacy of dialysis in inpatients with an acute need for renal replacement therapy at BIDMC

The potential influence of this innovation is a feedback loop to the prescribing nephrologist which enables them to better gauge the adequate dialysis dose. My rolee was the project manager.

Researching current handoff practices and implementing an improved handoff process at NYU

As the literature shows, improved systems (eg, the IPASS system) can have an impact on reducing adverse events. My role was implementing a robust monitoring system.
