My main research interests include Shakespeare, early modern drama, and theater history. My book project focuses on theatrical performances at Oxford and Cambridge in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, with an emphasis on the understudied relationship between university drama and the Shakespearean stage. My published work has appeared in The Review of English Studies, Renaissance Quarterly, Renaissance Studies, and The Bodleian Library Record. I have also written for the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Folger Library's Shakespeare & Beyond Blog, OUPblog, and Harvard Magazine. I received my PhD from Princeton in 2018.
