I was instructor of Microeconomics at the Harvard Kennedy School's Mid-Career Summer Program (a total of 10 courses offered in the summers of 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017).
The main objective in this four-week course is to introduce (or reintroduce) students to economics and to explore how this discipline can help students think about important questions faced in their professional life and in society. It aims to develop a level of proficiency with some of the key vocabulary and tools of economic analysis. Ther focus is on microeconomics (i.e. the economics of firms and households), with special attention to the role of government (i.e. public policies) and markets in economic outcomes.
