Gary Choi is a Croucher Scholar pursuing his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University, where he works with Prof. L. Mahadevan and Prof. Chris Rycroft.
He obtained his B.Sc. (First Class Honors) and M.Phil. in Mathematics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2014 and 2016 respectively, and S.M. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 2019.
His research interests include applied and computational geometry, interdisciplinary mathematical modeling, quantitative biology, medical imaging, origami and kirigami metamaterial design, geometry processing, and scientific computing.
