Paulina Knight, BA

I graduated from The University of Chicago in 2019 with a BA in both Biology and Neuroscience. I was involved in both immunology and quantitative neuroscience basic science research, but really found my stride working as a Teacher’s Assistant. I helped to teach a range of topics within biology, including introductory neuroscience and quantitative disease modeling. I also volunteered at the University of Chicago Emergency Department as a Lead Volunteer. Outside of science, I competed for the University of Chicago Model United Nations team, and received my Yoga Instructor certification from CorePower Yoga, where I now teach.
I am excited to work as part of the Loggia lab to explore how glial cells mediate neuroinflammation, and how these neural signatures can give insight to the mechanisms of pain.
