Carlos Riumallo-Herl is an Assistant Professor at the Erasmus School of Economics and a candidate fellow at the Tinbergen Institute.

His field of interest is in the intersection of health economics and the economics of aging. As part of his work he is involved with a set of projects in low and middle income countries including HAALSi the longitudinal survey of aginng. He obtained his doctorate from the Harvard School of Public Health on Global Health and Population Economics.
