Allison Daminger is a Ph.D. student in Sociology & Social Policy at Harvard University and a doctoral fellow in the Harvard Kennedy School's Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy. Allison's research focuses on the ways broader societal inequalities affect family dynamics. Current projects examine the gendered division of "cognitive labor", or the mental work of remembering, planning, researching, and deciding.
Previously, Allison worked as a research associate for a nonprofit consulting firm that uses insights from behavioral science to solve social problems. She received her A.B. in anthropology from Princeton University in 2012.
