The Declaration Resources Project is a new initiative with the mission to create innovative and informative resources about the Declaration of Independence. The preliminary goal of this project is to supplement existing web-based resources with tools that will allow individuals to engage with the text and understand the dissemination and impact of the document. Ultimately, we hope to demonstrate the ways in which engagement with fundamental primary sources such as the Declaration of Independence can influence civic identity and change our understanding of civic education.
