Bio & CV

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Business Economics at Harvard. My research and teaching interests are International Trade, Urban Economics, and Development Economics.

My research studies how different frictions affect the spatial distribution of economic activity within countries and cities. In order to do so, I use a variety of methods, including reduced-form analysis as well as structural methods.

At Harvard, I am a Ph.D. Student Affiliate of the Center for International Development (CID), and Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD)

I was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. Before my doctoral studies, I obtained a B.A. in Economics and an M.A in Economic Theory from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City.
