Consulting

Prof. Levy’s consulting falls into two areas:

  1. Producing evidence, training people to consume evidence, and advising institutions on how to best produce evidence to improve the effectiveness of their social programs. The list of institutions that fall in this category include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Coalition for Evidence-Based Policy, Fundación Bancaria “la Caixa”(Spain), Global Development Network (GDN), Hewlett Foundation, Inter-American Development Bank, JPAL, Mathematica Policy Research, Mexico’s Social Development Ministry (Sedesol), Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Planning Institute of Jamaica, UK Department for International Development (DFID), USAID, and The World Bank.

  2. Conducting teaching workshops or advising institutions on matters related to teaching and learning.The list of institutions that fall in this category include the Georgetown Public Policy Institute, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, IESA (Venezuela), IESE (Spain), LASPAU, Turning Technologies, Universidad Católica Boliviana, Universidad de Los Andés (Chile).

In addition to these consulting arrangements, he has served on several advisory boards including the Coalition for Evidence Based Policy, Instiglio, Locatel-Plenia and World Teach.
